September 28. Cloudy most of the day with some blue sky and sunshine. Mike was in charge of lotu this morning and continued his teaching on Christ’s love manifest in our lives, using Scritures from 1 John 2 and 4. There was a good number here this morning. They said that Bethuel and Sunny’s brother, Luke, got saved. (Also found out a couple days later that Bonita got saved.) Praise the Lord! So now eight of my school students are saved, and there is one more who needs to be saved—Steve.
Please pray for Steve’s salvation!
After lotu, I got the bed made. Then practiced keyboard for a while before we went for a walk. It was a pleasant morning for a walk. All the clouds today were big, some gray and some white.
After walk, I made some corrections in the song file. Then worked until dinner time on checking II Timothy. While dinner was warming up, I got the dry ingredients together for a loaf of bread since Daddy finished his bread yesterday. After we ate, I got the wet ingredients mixed in, kneaded the bread, and set it to rise while we had our nap.
When I got up, the bread was ready to go into the oven. While it was cooking, I worked more on the song file and then on the spoken English lessons. Before supper, I got the bathroom cleaned.

September 29. It was a cool, cloudy day. A little bit of sunshine here and there. And some rain too. But, all in all, it was a good day as we rejoiced with Wenera over his salvation.
Just made one batch of pancakes for breakfast this morning as I don’t have any more rice, barley, or corn flour. Will have to have Sunny grind some after Daddy gets back from town and can help set up the grinder. There was no fruit to make syrup for my pancakes, except for dates. So I made a date syrup and added some ginger.
After breakfast, quiet time, and exercise, I played the keyboard for over an hour, checking over a number of the songs from the song book we are working on as I seek to make the final copy for printing. In the few minutes that were left before lotu, I made the corrections in the computer.
There were quite a few people here before either Tomas or Mike arrived so Daddy gathered people in to start singing. There was nobody to lead the singing so we just sang. When Mike came, he took over the song service; and by then, Tomas had arrived too. After the singing, Tomas took care of the announcements and did the preaching. Before the preaching, Wenera gave his testimony again for the sake of those who weren't here on Wednesday, and then I sang, “A New Name in Glory.” Tomas preached from Genesis, showing how Adam and Eve, and later Cain, tried to make themselves acceptable to God by their own works. Explained that God will not accept man’s works, but that man can only come to God through faith in the shed blood of the Lamb.
After the meeting, I got some pictures of Wenera and his family and also Wenera and Tomas together since Tomas had a big part in leading Wenera to Christ. Tomas also had the privilege of baptizing him. Then we had our dinner and nap; and the church folks had their fellowship dinner before going down to the river for the baptism.
Daddy got the fire going again before nap because the weather was so chilly. This afternoon, I spent working on the spoken English lessons for next school year. Then I had Daddy cut up the pumpkin for me so I wouldn’t have to try to cut that up myself after he is gone. Put that on the wood stove to cook so it is ready for me to eat the next few days. Then I got supper and did dishes. After doing dishes, Daddy started the generator. I sorted out the clothes and got them all washed so we don’t have to run the generator again in the morning. Hung the shirts and a few other items in the bathroom so they won’t get all wrinkled sitting in the basket over night. Just finished the laundry so now I can relax for the rest of the evening.
“51Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” I Corinthians 15:51,52
