November 29. Very warm here through the night. Praise the Lord for a partly sunny, dry day.
This morning after breakfast and quiet time, I wrote an e-mail and started on another. Then we got ready to go shopping. When Daddy tried to start the car, however, it wouldn’t start. Jason came over and tried to jump start it for him, but it looks like the problem is not the battery - maybe the starter or something else. Daddy came back in and called Randy, and Randy called his mechanic to see if he was in the shop today; but there was no answer. So he’ll have to try again on Monday. So we weren’t able to do any shopping today and probably not Monday either. We did walk up to Papindo West and brought back just three items. That was a good walk for us. I was happy to see Jeanne Best in the store - hadn’t seen her for a long time. Today is her birthday.
Worked on Christy and Connie’s e-mail after we got back. Then had lunch and nap. After nap, I wrote another e-mail and sent the three e-mails I had written. Then I took the computer to the other room where the internet cable is and tried to look up some links that had come on some of our e-mails. Couldn’t get into anything other than the Wylers - always enjoy looking at their site.
Had leftover veggies and spaghetti for supper. Did up the dishes. Worked a few minutes on crochet.
“41Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
75And Peter remembered the word of Jesus, which said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. And he went out, and wept bitterly.” Matthew 26:41,75
November 30. Last day of November. Another day without rain, although it was quite cloudy most of the morning - not cold though.
Fixed pancakes for our breakfast. Had put together some mix and brought it out with us. Just used half of it today and saved the other half for next Sunday. After breakfast and quiet time, I did some crocheting, and we listened to a message from EBC on the internet. Then I worked on the song book for a short while until time to call Christy and Connie. It’s always good to talk with them, but the time is much too short, especially now that the cost has gone way up so we make the calling time shorter.
After that, I did a little walking along the balcony. Then worked more on the song book until dinner time. Most of my computer time today was spent working on the song book, as it has to be set up differently for us to print ourselves.
“18And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Matthew 28:18-20
