Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. II Timothy 2:15
January 7.
No rain last night, but some rain this afternoon and this evening.
This morning, Daddy left for Bible school a little before 8:00. It was the last day — the day to go over the last test, to talk to them about a possible second year of school, and to give out certificates. Seven men received certificates of completion. I went up around 9:00 to get a picture of the men, but it was closer to 9:30 before he gave the certificates.
Also, by 8:00 the men (builders) were all here working on splitting bamboo and getting ready to weave a wall. They finished the inside east wall today. Now they need more short pieces of bamboo. So they will get those tomorrow and said they will work Saturday on weaving the outside east wall.
After I took pictures at Bible school, I came back and prepared greens and uxai for dinner. Worked on the computer a while after that, putting in corrections for Romans 5 and 6.
Fixed noodles and tuna for dinner along with our veggies. Had an early nap. Then we worked on checking Romans 7. That was a bit harder than the first six chapters, and we are thankful once again for the Lord’s help.
After that, I worked on the computer again. Then played keyboard before getting supper.

Six men showed up for translation last evening. We served them coffee, and there were enough cookies left for one each so we gave them those.
Only .25” rain last night, and pretty much a dry day today.
This morning, Daddy and I rechecked Romans 8, so we are now half done rechecking Romans. Praise the Lord! After that, I had my prayer time, and studied the lesson for ladies’ meeting this evening. Then I put the corrections from Romans in the computer, and worked on checking Devit’s typing of Acts 13. After that, we went for a short walk. It was VERY short, as the ground is still very slippery. We went to find Erendora (otherwise known as Patamaura) Anevina. She had said she wanted to rake, and the men wanted all the bamboo cleaned up before they start weaving the next wall. So we called her to come rake.
When we got back from our walk, I picked tomatoes — four out of ten were good. The rest had to be thrown away. Then Pata came, along with several followers who helped her. Gave her K2 for the work, and she got yarn and two lollies.
I finished up the checking of Acts 13, then got dinner and started making the bread. Finished making the bread after we ate.
After nap, I started the bread baking, sewed up a small blouse to use for a clothespin bag so I can wash the other one, swept the floors, and washed the kitchen floor, cut up a half popo, had snack, worked on Acts outlines in computer, played keyboard, and got supper.
Just finished doing dishes and getting things ready for ladies’ meeting. Now it is time to relax a little while before ladies come.
