March 6. Have been very tired today. Have not slept well for the past two nights. Have been praying about what to do from here.
Matthew was the only one who came on time for lotu this morning. He waited inside a while, and then went back out. I saw Amos come up from his house shortly after that, but he didn’t come right here. After a while, others were here, but they did not come inside. They hung around outside and talked and talked and talked. It was 7:40 before they came inside and started the meeting. In the mean time, I busied myself with folding clothes and finding some pictures that I needed for school.
In his short message, Matthew talked about needing help in order to win. I can’t remember what his first text was now. Then he went to 2 Peter 1:5-10.
After my lunch, I finished grading papers and recorded grades. Then I had my nap. Put a pot of rice and soup beans on to cook for my supper. Added a can of carrots and a can of tuna.
Phinehas and Wiru came around 4:30 and cut firewood until it started to get dark. They said they will cut more tomorrow.
“I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.” John 6:51
March 7. It was warm all night and warm when I got up this morning, so I did not start the fire. However, after a while, I saw that the sun was not going to shine. There was rain up and down river on the other side, and it was getting cool. So around 7:30, I got the fire going and kept it going the rest of the day until supper time. Now that I have let the fire go out, the wind is blowing and it is raining.
Tomas came around 6:30 this morning with his mobile so I could talk to Daddy. After Tomas left, I finished my breakfast and quiet time. I was going to work on the February progress report, but discovered I had not copied over the new report file from the other computer. So I worked a little bit on another lesson until school time. Finished another lesson this afternoon and started a new one which I finished this evening.
Dallas stayed and said his Bible verses after school. Then while I fixed my lunch and ate, he and Phinehas practiced keyboard. After I finished lunch, I graded papers and recorded grades. And shortly after the boys left, I had my nap.
Phinehas and Wiru came back this afternoon to finish cutting the firewood they started cutting yesterday afternoon. I was glad they cut a bunch of fat ones. That helped me not to have to check and feed the fire so often. All together they filled 21 boxes of firewood. I had them fill up the big wood box for me.
“63It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. 64But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him. 65And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.” John 6:63-65
