April 11. When we went to bed last night, the sky was clear and starry. The air was quite chilly. When we woke up this morning, the sky was covered with clouds, and the fog was coming up out of the valley. It stayed somewhat cool and cloudy most of the day with some periods of sunshine.
We were up early (about 5:30) to start laundry. Somehow we finished the laundry early enough so that I had time to hang the clothes out before lotu. Had breakfast and read Bible while the clothes were washing.
Mike spoke in the meeting this morning on God’s manifestation of love in Romans 5:6-8. There were a good number here for the meeting.
Afterward, I got right to work at the computer. Wanted to be sure to get all the updates ready to go out so Daddy can send them when he gets to town. I was thankful to have gotten them all finished this morning. Oops! I discovered that I forgot two, but got those done this evening. There is quite a stack of mail waiting to go out when Daddy gets to town. We still aren’t getting much of a signal here. Barely enough to send or receive a phone call - sometimes.
Also worked on and finished up another Bible school lesson today.
For lunch I fixed up the uxai that we had. Mixed it with onions and seaweed. Also made mashed potatoes. Don’t know how long it’s been since we’ve had mashed potatoes. Probably a couple years or so. We usually don’t have enough potatoes. Made some creamed tuna to go on top.
“50Jesus saith unto him, Go thy way; thy son liveth. And the man believed the word that Jesus had spoken unto him, and he went his way…. 53So the father knew that it was at the same hour, in the which Jesus said unto him, Thy son liveth: and himself believed, and his whole house.” John 4:50,53
