July 6. Well, Saturday wasn’t the coldest day of the year after all. It was 47º outside and 55º in the house again. It was very clear until the fog came up, and then there were more clouds than there have been other mornings. It was much too cold to have school in the schoolroom, so I set up all the chairs in the office area and around the back of the wood stove so all the students could come in here close to the fire. We had our first two classes in here, and by mid-morning it was warm enough to move back into the schoolroom.
This afternoon, Esau, Phinehas, and Dallas cut firewood. (They make a good team, and we hope they will keep the vision for going out and preaching the word together.) The wood stove has really been eating up the firewood in this cold weather.

July 7. 50º this morning, and thick fog. After the fog, however, the Lord sent sunshine to warm up this chilly world. It was even warm enough to let the fire in the wood stove go out today, and to go outside and enjoy the sunshine this afternoon.
Opo came this afternoon to talk with Daddy. To our surprise, he showed his appreciation for our coming and told how thankful he is that he is saved and knows he will see us in heaven. Daddy questioned him on his salvation, and he gave a clear testimony.
