March 24. Today there was a bit of hazy sunshine, but mostly clouds and wind and a little rain. It is raining lightly this evening. The plane came today and took the CARE team and a couple sick people out to Goroka. The CARE team had come in for the weekend for graduation for their medical training school they held here some time ago.
Have been looking to see what books I need to order for next year.
“ Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord….” Hebrews 12:14
March 25. Lots and lots of rain last night, but by morning, the sky had turned to pink and blue. The Lord gave us a mixture of sunshine and clouds today, but enough sunshine to finish drying one batch of peanuts. This afternoon, it was raining in the north on the mountains across the river, and in the south in the woods just across the airstrip. But no rain came here.
A pretty quiet day today. We finished the lesson on John 2:1-11 today, making practical application of principles for a Christian marriage. Then we did review. The students had some good questions, a couple of which I could not give a solid answer to because the Bible doesn’t give the answer. Then they had their test, and all but two got 100% on the test.
They did their review lesson in social studies today, and they all did well on that. They also had to draw a picture of something they learned about in the lesson.
After school, Sunny stayed and ground rice for rice cereal and barley for flour. Bonita shelled peanuts. When Sunny finished grinding the grains, she helped Bonita finish shelling peanuts.
I was thankful to have had time to get most of the grading done during classes today while the students were doing seat work. Only the social studies’ review lesson had yet to be graded, and I did that right after we ate lunch while the girls were still working. Also got the grades recorded, so after nap, I was able to get everything ready for tomorrow and then do some photo copying and scanning before supper.
“28Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: 29For our God is a consuming fire.” Hebrews 12:28,29
