Well, it has been a very long time since I have updated. This has been due to some things that have been going on, including computer problems. The moral to that story seems to be, “If it’s electronic, don’t let me touch it!” :-)
It was exciting to receive a CD from Mom the other day. This CD contained quite a few photos, so those will be fun to share over the next few weeks.
During the month of December, Dad and Mom were able to go out to the town of Goroka where they enjoyed a little time of rest and also stocked up on supplies. This time they were out the Lord allowed them to see something special. Mom says, “Oh, yes, we saw something very interesting when we got up this morning and looked out the front window — a horse in the park across the street. A very pretty horse. We wondered why it was there without a soul around. Nobody went near it for a long time. Later in the morning, we saw some boys pulling small bunches of grass and trying to feed the horse. They were afraid to get close enough at first for the horse to get it. Finally one boy went close enough for the horse to eat out of his hand. He got so excited, he nearly did a handstand. After a while, he got a little braver, and was able to pet the horse. The boys didn’t stay around long, and the horse was left alone again. When we went downstairs to get keys for the van so we could go shopping, Daddy asked the security guard and the office worker about the horse. The office worker said it belongs to a fat man, and he will come get it after a while. Just as we were done in the office, the owner came and got ready to ride the horse away. The man didn’t look very fat to us.”
Isn’t God good? He even cares about special little pleasures.
Thank you all for stopping by and reading. Thank you for praying. God bless you!
