How To Help
This page was not Dad and Mom's idea. Those of you who receive Dad and Mom's newsletter know that they do not ask for things or for money. However, quite a few people have asked my sister and me about ways they can help or about things Dad and Mom can use. Perhaps this page will give some ideas as to how you might help or what you can send in care packages, and so forth. For any questions, mailing information, and address for mailing, please contact Christy Young using the Contact Form below.
1. Pray - "Brethren, pray for us." (I Thessalonians 5:25)
This is probably the most important. Missionaries need lots of prayer.
Pray for encouragement
Pray for personal spiritual growth and for purity and for the Holy Spirit's power in the work
Pray for good health and strength and stamina
Pray for safety
Pray for prepared hearts - theirs and the people's
Pray for fruit for their labor
Pray for strong Christians - men, women, and children - to be raised up to carry on the work when the missionary leaves and to go into other places to reach other people with the gospel
2. Give.
Monetary gifts can be sent to Dad and Mom's home church. See the "Home" page of this website for more information. The church address should be visible on the prayer card that is on that page. If you still have questions, contact Christy through the "contact" page below.

3. Go
"Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." (Mark 16:15)
Dad and Mom are praying for a young couple to be their partners and to take over the work when they are no longer able to continue. Perhaps God is calling you to be that partner.
Also, if someone knows how to set up something that would provide a more constant supply of electricity, that would be a great help to them. Quite a few people have offered to help in this area, but they needed to know all the physical information of the area where Dad and Mom live. This is nearly impossible to describe. A person must really visit the area to see what it is like. But, if you would like to go visit, and see if there is something that you can do along these lines, they welcome visitors anytime.
