Sunshine, Fresh Air and Rainbows

May 16. Didn’t get up early to do wash this morning. Just planned to do it after lotu so I could get enough rest. There was a little rain when we got up this morning, but then the Lord stretched a big rainbow of promise across the western sky. Was it a promise of a nice day? It was.

            Matthew taught lotu, continuing with “Knowing God’s Will,” talking this morning about fasting and praying. After lotu and a little time to greet people and talk with them, we started laundry. I also worked on the quarterly newsletter while the clothes were washing. It was so refreshing to get out in the fresh air and sunshine to hang out the clothes.

            Afterward, I had an Emergen-C drink and then got ministry updates ready to e-mail. Also started getting the journal notes file ready to send to Christy and Connie. After I had a number of e-mails done, Daddy took the computer into the other room and sent them. We also received a nice e-mail from Connie.

            Saturday afternoon was hair washing time again. Then I cut up a popo for our snack and also cooked part of it for tomorrow’s pancakes. After that, I started an e-mail to C & C.

            Practiced keyboard for a while after supper. Put the rainbow pictures in the picture file.

Learning to Read Music

May 15. 6:00 p.m. and raining fairly hard. A little rain during the night last night but not anywhere near as much as the night before. Some small rains within the daylight hours of this cloudy day.

            It was a busy day in school. After praying and reviewing verses in Bible class, we started learning, “More About Jesus.” I gave them copies of the music with the English words and had each section tell for the first line of the song what their starting notes would be and when they would stay on the same note or go up and down. I am glad to see that they are finally understanding a little bit about reading music. Then we practiced the melody a couple times before starting to learn the bass and tenor. Didn’t get to the alto today, but promised we would do that on Monday.

            The students had a reading lesson to finish up in phonics class and a new phonics lesson to do, learning about the schwa sound. In the next class, they enjoyed playing a math game before finishing the math lesson they started yesterday. We took time to learn about finding averages before they could finish that part of the lesson. Then they had their spelling quiz, after which they reread the history lesson they had read yesterday and we discussed the lesson together and looked at maps. Before they went home, they counted the money that they have made in the past couple months and made up a list of things for Daddy to get in town for them to sell. Most of their sale items are sold out.

            So we had a late lunch and late nap. After nap, I checked the sentences on their spelling quizzes, finished up next week’s lesson plans, and then worked on the ministry updates.

            George was here cutting firewood most of the day. Daddy was busy a good part of the day trying to work out flight arrangements for the coming shopping trip to and from town. It is almost impossible to get a flight anymore.

Please pray for Dad to be able to get a flight to and from town and to be able to have transportation while he is in town. Thanks.

Not Feeling Well

May 13. Heard a little rain during the night. It has been a cloudy, foggy, rainy day. The clouds did rise high enough for the plane to get in today and bring medical supplies for the health centre.

            Didn’t get up until just about 6:30 this morning. Was awake for an hour or so from around 3:15. Finally got up and took more Clear Lungs as I was getting all congested again. Lotu didn’t even start until around 7:30 this morning.

            My head was really congested in school this morning so my brain was all fogged up, and it was hard for me to think straight. I was thankful it was a short school day.

            How thankful I was for a good nap this afternoon! Slept about an hour and a half and probably could have slept another hour. Was awakened by the plane getting ready to take off. But I needed to get up anyway. There was work to do. Finished grading today’s papers and then looked over lessons for tomorrow and wrote things on the chalkboard. Also put the new Bible lessons in the students’ notebooks.

            “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.” John 13:20

May 14. I was thankful to be feeling quite a bit better by yesterday evening and thought I might get a good night’s sleep. But hardly got any sleep at all. My head just wouldn't sleep for some reason. I prayed and sang and thought, turned my pillow dozens of times, rolled from back to side to back to other side again and again, and listened to the rain. It rained all night and most of the day today too. Have had a jacket on just about all day even with the fire going in the wood stove.

            Surprisingly, in spite of the rainy weather, most of the students were still here early for school. We sang an extra song this morning at the beginning of school because there was still time left for singing. Sosthenes chose “Em I Lavim Yu” (“He Cares for You”) so I had them get out the red song books so we could sing it in English and in Pidgin. It is one song I had been planning to teach them so they can sing it as a special. Then we said the Bible verse, I Thessalonians 5:18, before starting the new lessons on Knowing the Will of God.

            After nap, I only had to grade Sunny’s and Graham’s math lessons and look over lessons for tomorrow. Then I practiced music for a while, the new song they’ll be starting to learn - “More About Jesus.” Wrote up questions for tomorrow’s math game before fixing supper. After supper, I practiced music a little more so I’ll be ready for tomorrow.

Students Hard at Work

5/19/2015

May 11. I was thankful to be feeling a bit better last night and to have a better night’s sleep. However, it was quite cold this morning - down in the low 50’s when we got up; and before the morning was over the cold had gotten into my ears, throat and chest again. I was really feeling miserable by the time classes were over, with a slight fever. Have been taking mega doses of everything we have so didn’t know what else to do other than start on amoxicillin.

            Today is our daughter Christy’s 43rd birthday.

            Was thankful for a pretty good nap this afternoon and also thankful that there wasn’t much school work to grade or to put on the chalkboard for tomorrow. Spent an hour or so before supper working on the new Bible lessons for school so I can have them ready by Thursday. Today we started a new music lesson and will probably finish that tomorrow.

            Then I warmed up supper; and after we ate, I made some oatmeal date bars for our snacks.

            Afterward, I printed out new computer lessons for Sunny and Graham, and also printed a copy of the new Bible lesson so I can get that proofread before I make the students’ copies.   Sunny and Graham did a little work and then had their computer lesson. Several of the students were here working on their spelling lesson. Matthew came and checked over the verse the students had translated this morning. He just made a couple changes in it so they did pretty well. He said that the lady he talked with yesterday had been saved before, but had gotten away from the Lord and wanted to get things right.

            “….having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end.” John 13:1b Words of great comfort and encouragement.

May 12. It took ages to get to sleep last night. I felt so miserable. Couldn’t turn on my side without my head getting all congested, and had too much back pain lying on my back. It was probably midnight before I was finally relaxed enough to sleep.

            Praise the Lord for strength for the school day. I was thankful the students had a project to do for science class (their last class). While they were working on their project, we had our lunch. Some of them were still here working when we went for our nap, but we asked them to lock the door behind them when they went out.

            Daddy wasn’t feeling well today either and is not having Bible school this evening.

            Thania came around 3:30 this afternoon to check today’s lessons and is still here, but nearly finished - four hours of work. And I checked some of the lessons myself. Hung up the students’ projects on the bulletin board. For science class, they had to draw pictures showing five ways that they use water.

            Then I had to make a meal for this evening. Soup would be a good thing for sick people. Used the last of the ground beef and made a beef vegetable soup.

            We learned that a young person from Waisara just died. So even if there were Bible school this evening, some of the students would not be able to come since they would be going to Waisara to cry for the young lad.

            After supper, I marked and recorded grades, except for what Thania hasn’t finished checking yet.

            Graham came to practice his typing this evening.

God Works in Hearts

May 9. The Lord has given us two days without rain. Thank you, Lord. He gave us a sunshiney day today so it was pleasant for the baptism and fellowship time.

            I didn’t get to write in my journal last night. I wasn’t feeling well so went to bed around 8:30. Was attacked by a sinus cold early yesterday morning.

            There was no usual prayer meeting yesterday morning so we didn’t have to get up extra early to wash clothes. We did the laundry right after breakfast. We weren’t sure if it were going to be a nice enough day to hang clothes outside, or not, but we went ahead and hung them out anyway. It was misting a little bit when we first started, but stopped after a while. By noon or a little after, most of the clothes were dry.

            Yesterday morning, I finished up lesson plans for this week of school and made a birthday card for Christy. Fixed some rice and lentils with tuna for lunch. There were a few leftover greens in the fridge which I warmed up, and there was pumpkin too that Sunny had cut up for me the other night. But the pumpkin didn’t taste good so we threw it out.

            After nap, I washed my hair, cut Daddy’s hair, and fixed us some lunch to eat before the meeting. There were a good number here again. The youth choir sang a special today. I did not stay in the meeting room as I wasn’t feeling well. I did practice with the students again after the meeting. Sunny and Graham stayed afterwards to check lessons and do the dishes. I had a snack, took a bath, and then went to bed.

May 10.
            Was thankful that I wasn’t feeling quite so badly today. After breakfast and quiet time, I marked and recorded grades for all the lessons Sunny and Graham had checked yesterday. I had planned to start an e-mail to Christy and Connie after that, but was too tired so went and rested until lotu time. In the morning meeting, Ham Obet came up and told the church that he had gotten right with the Lord. Praise the Lord for that! He had not been in church for some time. We were thankful to see Daniel here today and also on Friday.

Please keep praying for Daniel, that he would get right with the Lord as well.

            Afterward the school choir sang “Yield Not to Temptation.” After the meeting, I took a couple pictures of Elise and Antau who then went down to the water to be baptized.* After the baptism there was food fellowship before the afternoon meeting. There were three specials this afternoon. Tomas’s children plus several others sang a song that Phinehas had written about Jesus being our friend, sung to the tune of “I Will Make You Fishers of Men.” Then the youth choir sang “When I See the Blood”, and last of all, the school choir sang “Until Then.”

            After the preaching Matthew gave an invitation. Nobody came to the altar, but afterward Matthew and David each dealt with someone. Matthew left before we saw him; but David said that Jasper, Obet’s son, got saved. Praise the Lord!

            After supper, I looked over lessons for school tomorrow and wrote some exercises on the chalkboard.

            “49For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. 50And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.” John 12:49,50

*Please pray for Antau. He paid a high price for taking his stand for Christ. Please pray that he will be encouraged and stay faithful to the Lord.

A Rat That's Crazy Over Chocolate

May 1. A new month. When we got up this morning, the sky was pretty blue and pink, and we thought it might be another day like yesterday. But clouds came and went throughout the day although there has been no rain yet.

            I was thankful to be feeling a wee bit better today. Still have a ways to go though. Ate a little bit more today, but was still very tired and slept 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 hours at nap time.

            The kids did really well singing “Yield Not to Temptation” this morning so maybe they will sing it during the special meetings next week. We will practice a couple other songs as well – some they already know. There isn’t time to learn any new ones.

            Most of them did quite well in their math test this morning. I was very pleased with how well Steve and Peninnah did as they had had a hard time throughout the chapter. They did better than some of the others who usually get a good grade. I felt sorry for Esau. He studied and tried hard, but he gets so mixed up. He did well on the fractions, but still got fouled up on multiplication and division.
Please pray that the Lord will help Esau understand math.

            After nap this afternoon, I just had time for grading their English lessons before time to warm up supper.

          “27My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. 30I and my Father are one.” John 10:27-30

May 2. Many of my hours today were spent sleeping, a good remedy for getting better. My stomach hasn’t felt quite so sick today, but I was very tired. At 3:00 a.m., I was awakened by “chew, chew, chew.” What was that rat into now? Got up and shone the flashlight into the guest room where the school sales items are. Saw the rat jump off the bed and take off somewhere. Rat-proofed all the boxes of food and then went back to bed, but it was a long time before I got back to sleep. Slept in late this morning - until about 6:20. In the morning, we took a look to see what the rat was chewing on – chocolate! The chocolate wafers that the school is selling. We have never had a rat before that went crazy over chocolate.

            Napped after breakfast until time to wash clothes. We hurried and washed clothes and hung them out so we would be ready in time to call Christy and Connie. I was happy to hear their voices but was too tired to think of much to say. After we said good-bye, I got an Emergen-C drink and a snack, cut up some pasteovers for the new math lessons coming up, and then went for another nap until lunch time.

            Matthew did the teaching in lotu this morning. He talked more on God wanting us to know His will, and that we CAN know His will, using Ephesians 5:17 as his text.

            Had a long nap again after lunch. Then I washed my hair before working on journal notes for Christy and Connie, making corrections in the next Bible school lesson, and setting up the students’ copy. Then I went to fix soup for supper and found that most of the potatoes were rotten. Threw out all the rotten ones, and cooked up what was left, along with some onion and some corn I had cut off the cob. Chicken and other veggies were already cooked and in the fridge to add to the pot for our supper soup.

            Matthew is meeting in a home in Marivo this evening, and the youth go to help sing. We didn’t know that until this morning when I was talking with Dallas after lotu. So I asked Graham and Sunny if they didn’t want to go. Of course they did. So they were excused from their work for this evening. They will come grade papers tomorrow evening since there is no more soul-winning class. I’m not sure when ladies’ meetings will start.

God's Grace is Sufficient in Weakness: and A Special Blessing

April 29. Whew! 9:20 p.m. already. It has been quite a day! Last night was quite a night too. About 12:45 I suddenly woke up and ran to get some activated charcoal. Felt like I was going to throw up any minute. The activated charcoal seemed to settle things down right away, and I went back to bed, only to awaken again two hours later with the same need. After more activated charcoal and some Echinacea too, I slept a couple more hours and then had to get up just because I had drunk so much water. Before I could get back to sleep, I heard “chew, chew, chew.” A rat was chewing on something. Daddy was awake, and he said it was probably too late for him to find a dish of rat poison before we got up. So I asked Daddy if he would at least try to scare the rat away because I can’t sleep with that rat-cket. He did, only to find that the rat was IN the kitchen cupboard, chewing on Daddy’s chocolate cookies. Now how did it ever get in there? No rats have ever gotten in there before. Now what will we do?

            Took more activated charcoal with breakfast this morning. After breakfast and quiet time, I went to lotu for a few minutes, but needed to go rest. Went and rested in the recliner until lotu was over. It would be a shorter day of school so I would see if I could make it through. Praise the Lord that His grace is sufficient in time of weakness. By the end of the morning, I was having a hard time, and was getting a bit frustrated, trying to figure out how I could explain their English lesson any more simply so they could understand. Well, I was just too tired to figure it out. But a few hours have gone by, and the Lord has given me some thoughts so we’ll just do the lesson again tomorrow.

            By the time school was over, I was pretty wiped out and ready for nap. But there were students with needs, and we still had to eat lunch. Went to nap as soon as I could which was after 1:30. Dallas, Esau, and Phinehas were out here chopping firewood. Shortly after my nap, Thania came, and she was here four hours checking papers. I started fixing supper. There were carrots to peel and slice up, a pot of rice to put on to cook, and onions and chicken to cook and make into gravy.

            Just when we were ready to sit down to eat, the three guys came in. They had finished their work. They said they wanted to talk to us for a while so we asked if they could wait until we finished eating. Chicken ‘n’ rice wasn’t exactly what my stomach wanted this evening, however, so I only ate a few bites of what I put on my plate and then put the rest away to warm up another day. Later on, I ate some graham crackers and then a bowl of cereal. Those seemed to make the tummy feel a little better than the chicken did.

            Before I cleaned up the kitchen, we sat down with the three guys. What a blessing and surprise to hear them share their hearts’ desire! The Lord has been working in each of their hearts regarding the need of going out and preaching the gospel. They just aren’t quite sure how to go about it. We’ve been teaching and teaching that there are still many people, even in villages right around them, who need Christ. We were over-joyed to hear them share that God is laying that burden on their hearts. How we need to encourage these young people and bathe them in prayer!

            After they left, I finally got the kitchen cleaned up. One part of the cleanup was taking all the food items out of the main kitchen cupboard, removing some things from the tall cupboard so there would be place for the extra food items in there, cleaning off the shelves, and putting things back in their different places. Daddy helped me with that job. Then I got all the lessons graded that Thania had checked. Did the dishes. (Daddy helped me with that job too.) Had a snack. Had a bath.

            There was a good group of youth here this evening for their meeting. I do enjoy hearing them sing.

            The Lord gave us a beautiful morning, and it looked like we could have a nice, all-day sunny day. But, no, back to the rain again this afternoon, and especially this evening.

          “14I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. 15As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. 16And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.” John 10:14-16

April 30. Praise the Lord for a beautiful day all day today!

            I was thankful to be feeling a tiny bit better today, but still not well. I started last night on ParaGone. Even if the symptoms are mold symptoms, they seem to be the same as parasite symptoms so maybe the parasite medicine will help. Still didn’t feel like eating much but only had to take activated charcoal once today. Maybe the parasite medicine will help the sore on the roof of my mouth too. Nothing else seems to help.

            Praise the Lord for His grace to see me through another day. It was a longer teaching day today, and I was quite tired when classes were over.

            After a fairly good nap, I had a little snack and looked over lessons for tomorrow. Then I practiced keyboard until supper time.

            Peninnah came and worked in the yard for a while. Sunny and Graham are here working this evening, and several of the students are here studying for tomorrow’s math test and spelling quiz.

          “17Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. 18No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.” John 10:17,18

God's Amazing Creation

April 27. Up and at ‘em early this morning. Heard rain before 5:00, and it was still raining when we got up but stopped before 7:00. The day was mostly cloudy.

            While I was waiting for school to start, I wrote in the answers on my copy of the English test that I printed last night and then started proofreading the next history unit. Only six students were here on time for school. Four came within the next five minutes, and two were quite late. After we sang, I had them translate two verses - I Thessalonians 5:16,17. It didn’t take long at all - they were very simple verses, but simple verses is a good place for them to start practicing. The next one will be a little harder   Maybe we could even sing them to the tune of “Rejoice in the Lord Always.”

            In science class, they were awed by the pictures of the stars which I took to class and showed them. Then I read to them a bit about measuring distance to the stars by light years and tried to explain that. It is mind boggling. We actually had done the lesson on stars a couple weeks ago, but I had found the pictures and wanted to show them. After that, we read the new lesson which was on weather.

            This afternoon I just had to grade Sunny’s and Graham’s math. Then I fixed a meat pie for supper.

            Sunny and Graham are here this evening grading the rest of todays’ work before they do the dishes and have their computer lesson.

April 28. Praise the Lord for a mostly sunny day today. It is raining a little bit this evening. Thania has been here since 3:30 checking school lessons. She also had to answer the door a few times while Lewis was shaving and washing and I was making cookies.

          “9I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. 10The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. 11I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.” John 10:9-11

New Babies, Visitors in Church, A Walk in the Sunshine, And More

April 25. It has been another busy day. We did not get up at 5:30 this morning as planned because I did not get much sleep last night and was too tired to get up. Between back pains and a pesky mosquito, it was a long time before I got to sleep. So we waited until after lotu to do laundry.

            Mike continued teaching in lotu this morning on love between husband and wife.

            After lotu, several of the school boys came in and helped us sniff out a dead rat. We had started smelling one last night here in the office. They finally found it between the two layers of wall between the office and the schoolroom. We are thankful to get rid of that.

            In the meantime, Daddy got the generator going, and I did the laundry. Once again, it was hung in the house due to adverse weather conditions. I am very thankful that we hung it in the house because the rains started before the morning was over.

            While I was doing laundry, Daddy was meeting with Matthew and David.

            After getting the clothes washed and hung up, I was pretty tired. Had a cup of coffee and a snack and relaxed for a while. Then I started an e-mail to Christy and Connie. It was already 11:00 by then. Worked on that until lunch time. Then we had our lunch and a nap. I was thankful for an extra long nap since I didn’t sleep well last night.

            After nap, I washed my hair, gathered up the trash to be burned, sorted and washed and cut up greens to be cooked and later put them on the wood stove for cooking, made granola, put eggs on to boil for supper. Max’s wife came with their new baby - a little girl born on Thursday. Then I finished C&C’s e-mail before we had supper.

April 26. Praise the Lord for no rain today. There was a little more sunshine, and it was even warm enough to let the fire go out in the wood stove before lotu. Daddy and I went out for a short stretch around the yard in the sunshine this afternoon. It felt good to get out. The clouds came up and covered the sky before we got back inside.

            I slept in a little later this morning and took a long nap this afternoon. But I had taken a couple ibuprofen last night, and that makes me sleepy so I really zonked out this afternoon.

            Did some printing this morning after Daddy turned the generator on. Sosthenes wanted an English-Pidgin song book, and I also started printing some pages of the next history unit. This evening, I finished printing one copy of the unit so I can get it proofread and make any necessary corrections.

            After Daddy turned off the generator, I went to see if the e-mails would come in that wouldn’t come in last night. Praise the Lord, they came in, and quickly too. And the two e-mails for Christy and Connie went out with no problem as well.

            Matthew preached on Ephesians 1:6-11 this morning and did a good job. There were several visitors here. Taqita was here with the new baby.

            I never woke up in time to make it to the second meeting.

            After our little stretch outside, I made sure things were ready for school tomorrow. Had just a few minutes to start making up an English test before supper. Then came back to it afterward. There are tests that come with the textbook, but they cover so much material at once, and the students really need something in between.

Birthday Party!

5/1/2015

April 23. Rained off and on during the night. The day was cool and mostly cloudy.

            I’ve had to keep reminding myself today that it was Thursday and not Friday. But tomorrow will come soon enough, and tomorrow is Dallas’s birthday. Thania’s birthday will be Saturday, but we will celebrate them both tomorrow. So today, besides teaching, I have been busy finding gifts for those two and getting other things together for the party. Also made a pot of chicken vegetable soup for our supper. It tasted especially good on a chilly day.

            Have a Power Point presentation ready to show the students tomorrow as well, with pictures from last school year and this year to date. Worked on that while Daddy was in town.

            While supper was cooking, I practiced keyboard to be ready for music class in the morning. After supper, I put practice exercises for math on the chalkboard and then practiced keyboard again. Sunny and Graham graded a few papers and are now doing dishes. Then they will have their computer lesson.

April 24. 7:00 p.m. Bible school classes just began so Daddy is out there teaching. I am thankful to sit down and rest now. It has been quite a day.

            It started out to be a cool and cloudy day with some short little showers. MAF was supposed to come in with building material for the health center. The ward was never finished so they want to get that done. But the weather wasn’t good this morning so they never came.

            I was up early this morning so I could finish getting things ready for the party. Three of the students came early for school so I asked if one of them would cut up a pumpkin. I had marked it into 12 somewhat equal pieces. All three volunteered, but Steve got here first so he cut up the pumpkin while the other two looked on. After he sliced up the 12 pieces, I cut each one into quarters to cook for their birthday dinner.

            We just did three classes today -- practiced the song they are learning (“Yield Not to Temptation”) in music class; finished up a reading lesson in the next class; and finished up a math lesson in the next. They did have their spelling test after that which didn’t take very long. Then I had them do their jobs while Daddy set up the projector to show them the slide show. They really enjoyed that. After that, it was time to set up the table for their dinner. Mike gave thanks for the food and prayed for Dallas and Thania. Dallas is 23 today, and Thania will be 20 tomorrow. Then we sang “Happy Birthday” to each of them. While they were eating, Daddy and I had our dinner - leftover soup. After we ate, I took pictures. Then the students went home, and we had our nap.

            After nap, Peninnah came and weeded the flower garden. She does a really good job, so she is being hired as our permanent gardener.

            Margaret and John also came, and Margaret took the stitches out of Daddy’s arm where the carcinoma had been removed. John brought some math books so I can get some ideas for challenge math papers for the students who need extra work. We enjoyed visiting with them again for a while. After that, I sat down to check just Sunny’s and Graham’s math lessons and spelling tests. However, in an hour’s time, I only got the two math lessons graded. Most of the time, I was busy answering the door while Daddy was busy shaving and washing. I had planned to get to the kitchen by 4:30 to make tortillas for my supper, but that didn’t come to pass either. It was after 5:00 before I finally got the tortillas started (can’t remember exactly how much after), and it was after 5:30 before I finally had a couple tortillas cooked so we could start eating supper.

            I finally got the two spelling tests graded just before Bible school. Graham and Sunny will check the rest of the lessons tomorrow evening. Sunny is here this evening practicing her typing, and then I am going to ask her to help me with the dishes. There are LOTS of dishes since we had the party today.

And now I am tired. Need to wash up and soon go to bed.
