October 15. Amos preached this morning on the next eight verses of Acts chapter 10 (verses 9-16), showing how God made it clear to Peter that the Gentiles also were to be received and not considered unclean, and giving thanks to God for making it possible for us Gentiles to be saved as well as the Jews. It was a blessing to see a good number present.
A couple prayer requests today were a matter of particular concern.
Math class was very frustrating today. It just seems like we go over and over and over and over the same things day after day, and the students still act like they never heard of it before. Consequently, they were very late finishing their math lesson today. But we still went ahead and had English class afterward.
Please pray that the Lord will give clear understanding to the students to grasp these math concepts. And pray for Mom to have special wisdom in knowing how to explain them to the students in a way the students can understand. Thanks so much.
After nap today, I still had quite a few math lessons to grade and also English lessons. Then I put away the baby things that Daddy had bought in town and the ones the girls sent, and also put away the school supplies the girls sent. Then I made some lemon sugar cookies and fixed supper.
