May 6. It must have rained most of the night, and the morning was foggy, dark, and dreary. About half the students were late for school.
This afternoon, I had a little grading to do and lessons to get ready for tomorrow. Made some oatmeal currant cookies; then worked on the next school Bible lesson until supper time.
This evening, Daddy is teaching Bible school. Several new students have come. They had signed up before, but hadn’t paid or come to the classes.
“Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.” I John 3:9
May 7. The Lord gave us a nice, sunny, blue sky day.
Mike taught lotu this morning in place of Amos, teaching on Acts 7:2-8, the beginning of Stephen’s sermon. Encouraged God’s people to believe and follow God, just as Abraham did, and that God will bless them.
We got an early start on school and were able to get quite a bit done today. At the end of the class day, I talked with the students about what they would like Daddy to buy in town so they can have a sale and earn some money for school projects. This afternoon, Daddy and I went through the list and figured out prices and what he would be able to get or not get this time in town.
Had a little bit earlier lunch and nap.
David is just starting youth meeting now.
“Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.” I John 3:13
