January 4. Quite cold again this morning, and a cold breeze today too. Daddy and I did go out for some sunshine for just a few minutes late morning, but the wind was too cold for us to stay out long.
I was thankful that my stomach was feeling a little better today though still not up to par. At least I felt like eating a bit more.
It was a very frustrating day. I tried working on the pictures for our presentation, but the photo editor in this new computer kept locking up and wouldn’t do anything. I had a hard time even getting the photo editor to shut down. I finally gave up on the computer and worked on Connie’s photo album most of the day.
This afternoon, right after I got up from nap, another unwanted text message came on my phone. Had gotten one yesterday evening too. I was quite upset about that.
Daddy was in bed a while today with a bad case of vertigo.
And this evening, I sent journal notes to Connie; and when I looked in the sent box to see if it had sent, it showed that they had sent it to everyone on my list. I only told them to send it to Connie. I wasn’t trying to send it to anyone else.
January 5. Very cold today, but no frost and the sun was shining. Close to noon, we ventured out for just a few minutes to get some fresh air.
This morning, I wrote a few e-mails, sent a text message, and spent more time on Connie’s photo album. This afternoon, I put the final touches on Love, Mercy, and Grace, and then edited pictures for our presentation.
Other than sending the text message, I did not touch my phone at all. When it rang, I let Daddy take care of it. Every day now there is an unwanted call.
(Mom was able to get her number changed but was still getting unwanted calls and texts.)
And there are still frustrations with the new computer (both with the Windows 10 and the Office 365) which are getting to be too much of a headache. So this evening, I gave the new computer to Daddy, and I’ll stick to the old one. So much for my pretty red computer.
I’m thankful that this old one still works, and I hope that it keeps working for a long time.
Enjoyed a nice chat with one of my sisters this evening.
