April 9. Sleep last night was rather restless since I was hurting quite a bit after being on my feet in the kitchen for quite a while. I am thankful that today was a bit better and I did not have to be on my feet much. There were only a few dishes this evening so that was a blessing.
The Lord gave us another warm, sunny, windy day with lots of blue sky.
There weren’t very many papers to correct today either, so I was able to get the paper work for school done sooner and things ready for tomorrow. Then I had time to work at the computer. Did more work on the next soul-winning lesson.
This evening, I got a Bible lesson set up and printed out for Matthew to use in RI classes, got math worksheets printed out for tomorrow, and also the next Bible/music lessons for the school students. They had their test today on the previous lesson. Everyone got 100% except for Steve, who missed two of the questions.
“If ye love me, keep my commandments.” John 14:15
April 10. Another mostly dry day. A few sprinkles of rain this afternoon. The school kids all went and helped Amos on his house this afternoon. They got one half of the roof on and will do the other half in the morning.
Listened to lotu from the bedroom this morning. David was in charge and continued his series on prayer. Today he talked about how to prevail in prayer - be right with God; pray according to God’s will; obey God’s Word; and several other points. He has done a good job of preparing the series on prayer.
No Bible school tonight because the men were too tired after working on Amos’s roof all day.
“18I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. 19Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.” John 14:18,19
