February 10. It has been an all day rainy day today, and very chilly too. The students were happy to just stay inside today. Daddy is not having Bible school this evening because it is too wet for people to come. Sunny and Graham are here correcting papers for me. Otherwise not much out of the ordinary happened today.
“9And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. 10For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.” Luke 11:9,10
February 11. It was almost 11:00 before we got to bed last night. It took Sunny and Graham a couple hours to correct all the students’ papers. Then it took me quite a while just to figure up and record the grades for math - the lesson counted 138 points and the drill up to 45 points. The drill is for extra credit, however, so I only grade them on how much of it they complete. Some of them don’t have time to complete the whole drill.
It rained and rained and rained until some time into the night last night. What a blessing it was to see sunshine and blue sky this morning, even though it did cloud up again after a couple hours! Then the Lord sent us a little more sunshine this afternoon, and I was so happy to get outside for a few minutes and soak up some of that sunshine.
Amos covered the rest of Acts 13 in lotu this morning - verses 42 through 52. There were a good number out for the meeting. I was excited to see Erovi there. He seemed happy to be here.
We had a fair bit of extra time for the first class this morning so were able to get a little bit ahead.
At the end of school, I took pictures of the students with their winter scenes that they created so I can send pictures to Lonnie and the Wylers.
It was a blessing to get a little earlier nap today (no afternoon class). Afterward, I finished up the grading and got things ready for tomorrow. This evening, I cut pasteovers that I need for the current unit in math and also photocopied all the lessons for the unit for the three students who don’t have books. All is quiet here this evening.
“But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.” Luke 11:28
