August 27. Down to upper 40’s this morning and up to 84º in the afternoon. Clouds started building up late afternoon.
“20My son, keep thy father's commandment, and forsake not the law of thy mother: 21Bind them continually upon thine heart, and tie them about thy neck. 22When thou goest, it shall lead thee; when thou sleepest, it shall keep thee; and when thou awakest, it shall talk with thee. 23For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life….” Proverbs 6:20-23
August 28. Very warm last night and warm today. Some sunshine in the morning and clouds in the afternoon.
Daddy wasn’t feeling well last night or today - had a really bad migraine and felt weak. He took a nap this morning as well as this afternoon, but felt better this evening.
I did all the grading again today (which didn’t take very long) so Sunny and Graham can finish cutting out fish tomorrow evening.
For supper, I made pizza and fixed the greens that Tonka brought today. I’m thankful for Tonka. He is the only one who has been bringing us veggies lately.
Please continue to pray about drought conditions in areas of Papua New Guinea.
After supper, we did laundry. Also John and Margaret came to see about the cost of some of the items they want to buy. After they left, we hung up the shirts and blouses we had washed. Now dish water is on heating.
“8All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing froward or perverse in them. 9They are all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge. 10Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold. 11For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it.” Proverbs 8:8-11
